The method
Do these in order every time and you'll trade like someone who never gets scammed.
Before you agree to anything, know what both items are worth. The value list and calculator tell you if a trade is a W, an L, or fair.
For anything cross-trade, gems-for-items, or high value, get a verified middleman from the Discord. They hold both sides so nobody can run. It is free.
If someone says "send first", rushes you, asks for your login, or offers a deal too good to be true — back out. There is always another trade.
With an MM on, the item-holder sends to the MM, the other side pays, then the MM releases both. Confirm each step in the ticket and you are done — clean trade, no L.
